How to quickly wash a reusable straw

Even though your reusable straw typically is dishwasher safe, it is easy for smoothie leftovers or similar to be stuck inside the reusable straw. Thus, it is best to stick with hand washing. But don't worry - it is quick and easy!

Step 1 - Rinse the inside

If you can, rinse your straw with warm water as soon as you're done using it so stuff doesn't harden in there. This may be the most important step, and will make it much easier to clean.

Step 2 - Scrub the straw

Add dish soap to your straw brush. Then, push it into your reusable straw, and scrub the inside. Every Oceanness reusable straw comes with a collapsible straw brush. If yours didn't, you may be able to get a suitable straw brush at your local household appliances store.

Step 3 - Rinse again

When you are done scrubbing the inside of your reusable straw, run it under hot water once more to flush out any remaining soap. Let dry. You're done!

Being sustainable shouldn't be a hassle! That's why all Oceanness reusable straws come with a collapsible cleaning brush for your convenience. If you haven't already, ditch single-use plastic straws and get a reusable straw in stainless steel now.
